DōMatcha® Australia - Golden Leaf Awards Winners 2017.

We are so excited to announce that DōMatcha®‘s two Organic Green Teas – Genmaicha and Sencha have won Gold at the 2017 Golden Leaf Awards in Australia as the best Japanese Genmaicha and best Japanese Sencha. DōMatcha®’s Sencha is full sun grown organic Sencha, using only the first picked leaves. It is steamed rolled and heat dried. When compared with wine, our Sencha is considered the finest of red table wines. Our Genmaicha is a proprietary blend of organic Genmai (roasted rice), organic Tencha and organic Matcha. This combination is the key to our smooth taste, aromatic fragrance, and nutty flavor.

In addition, DōMatcha® Master’s Choice Matcha received the Silver award. This is our best ground Matcha blended by our eleven generation tea master. The 100% Japanese stone-ground Matcha uses only the best shade-grown leaves. This product is produced by Japan’s premier Matcha manufacturer, who has won the best Japanese Matcha award a record 21 times.

We are so excited to announce that 3 of our Organic Green Teas have won awards at the 2015 North American Tea Championships!

 

1st Place - Organic Hojicha from DoMactha

DōMatcha®'s Organic Hojicha uses a proprietary blend of high-quality green tea leaves, pan-fired and slow roasted in the traditional methods in Kyoto. Most Hojicha tea uses lower quality Bancha leaves making for a bitter taste, however, DōMatcha®ʼs Organic Hojicha uses only 100% autumn leaves, offering notes of mesquite and an extremely smooth finish. Hojicha is often drunk after evening meals due to the low caffeine content.
