The DōMatcha®’s Difference

The finest matcha tea, sourced directly from Japan's lush tea fields, promoting health, wellness, and sustainability.

Traditions

DoMatcha is 100% authentic Japanese stone-ground green tea. We source our products directly from the source: Kagoshima and Uji, Kyoto—where matcha was born—and work with tea master Kazunori Handa-san, whose expertise has been refined from over 16 generations. We are extremely grateful, and honored, to work with the top Japanese experts to bring you the best matcha available online directly to your doorstep.

Quality

Our line of Japanese teas is cultivated, harvested, and processed in the same manner that has been done for hundreds of years. Our teas are clean, additive free, and have no detectable residual chemicals. We only make our teas in the traditional Japanese style to pay respect to the ancient roots of matcha.

Fresh & Vibrant

Our line of Japanese teas uses only the youngest, finest top leaves. Once harvested, they’re carefully steamed and placed into custom facilities at zero degrees to keep them fresh all year round. The leaves are then removed of rough fibers like stems and veins and then stone ground into matcha according to traditional practices.

This granite-stone grinding process is extremely labor intensive, done by tea experts to create the fine, high-quality product that DoMatcha is known for. Only Japan creates proper matcha, and ours is top of the line.

Our packaging is designed to maintain the matcha at peak freshness. It’s sealed in a foil bag, placed into a sealed tin with oxy packets that protect the matcha and absorb any moisture. We advise keeping opened matcha store in the refrigerator, away from heat, light, and liquid.

Purity

DoMatcha is completely clean and free of additives. Our whole line, both organic and non organic, is tested by an independent lab. We promise no detectable residual chemicals from pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, or radiation. We test them a second time once they arrive in our Canadian warehouse to ensure quality and safety before you enjoy them in your kitchen.
