DōMatcha®'s Organic Hojicha uses a proprietary blend of high quality green tea leaves, pan-ﬁred and slow roasted in the traditional methods in Kyoto. Most Hojicha tea uses lower quality Bancha leaves making for a bitter taste, however, DōMatcha®ʼs Organic Hojicha uses only 100% autumn leaves, oﬀering notes of mesquite and an extremely smooth ﬁnish. Hojicha is often drunk after evening meals due to the low caﬀeine content. Our tetra shaped teabags, made from cornstarch, are used for a premium quality brew, releasing more nutrients and ﬂavour over traditional teabags.
